Option 1: The Light will shine on License Plate/Bumper/And some light will shine on the ground.
Option 2: Light will only shine on Bumper and license plate - this looks similar to the OEM housing (but in our opinion ours has a much cleaner white color temperature).

These LEDs will replace your current bulbs, an easier install as you will not have to replace your entire license plate housing.

-To get a tighter fit, it is suggested you use electrical tape around the resistor adapter, it is very easy to do so, not all VW models require the electrical tape for a tight connection.
